Spaghetti dinner being held in Reed City for five-year-old with brain cancer

REED CITY — The Reed City community is coming together in April to help support a boy who is fighting a rare form of brain cancer.

Five-year-old Waylon Brown was diagnosed with Anaplastic Ependymoma when he was 15 months old.

Megan Brown, Waylon’s mom, says that it has been a struggle for them because “..you got, you know, every day things that go on with, you know, everybody else. And then you have all of his stuff. It’s it’s been hard. ”

She adds that while the benefit is to raise money, they would appreciate anything people would bring.

The spaghetti dinner will be April 12th at the Reed City Depot from 4pm to 8pm.
