TRAVERSE CITY — Cherry Capital Airport is teaming up with Northwest Michigan Works and Michigan Rehabilitation Services to host a job fair with a wide range of career opportunities available.
Those who would like to launch a career in the world of aviation are encouraged to attend the event from 8-10 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. this Thursday, March 13 at the airport, 727 Fly Don’t Dr. There are more than a dozen vacant positions to be filled across various departments.
“We are thrilled to partner with our local employment agencies to host the job fair at the airport,” CEO of Cherry Capital Airport Kevin Klein said. “Working in an airport environment is incredibly fun, challenging and rewarding. We look forward to welcoming new team members to the airport family.”
The positions available include law enforcement officers, airport operations supervisor, airport maintainer, ramp agents, customer service agents, transportation security officer, aviation maintenance, janitorial crew lead, avionics electrical technician, airline operation agents and aircraft fuelers.
Northwest Michigan Works and Michigan Rehabilitation Services will be on hand as well to support job seekers in their job search. This is a free event and parking will be validated.
