The world can be a stressful place, particularly for children at school with so many variables from their homework to the inherent fear of active shooters that have become so commonplace in America. What are schools doing to help curtail this sense of panic and pain? Enter therapy dog Harper.
This happy-go-lucky golden retriever is a certified therapy dog (ATD) based out of Traverse City and often visits schools as a way of supporting young students that have a lot on their plates these days. Her smiling face and wagging tail bring the reminder of all of the good in this world.
Harper is available to visit schools, churches, support groups, nursing homes, anywhere that a little light is needed.
