After the success of the Muskegon Solar Energy Center, Consumer’s Energy in partnership with Hecate Energy is breaking ground on their second solar farm this time in Calhoun County, Michigan. Although this renewable energy resource is not in Northern Michigan, our communities will benefit from the power that the 360MW Sunfish Solar 2 Renewable Energy Project.
Today we sit down with Matt Johnson from Consumers Energy to discuss the developing project and how state-wide programs like this one benefit all of the communities that Consumer’s Energy serves.
