Here in Northern Michigan we take a lot of pride in our local businesses and will go out of our way to support our fellow members of the community over national chains. A great example of this loyalty and dedication is the story of Tom’s Food Markets, a business that has grown in step with the Traverse Bay area.
What many regulars may notice when they visit the West Bay location of Tom’s Food markets is the construction taking place at the intersection, so we decided we would take one for our viewers and try to navigate the construction to gauge the difficulties.
It was as if the orange cones were not even there, the staff at Tom’s making the extra effort to provide a welcoming store experience regardless of the construction taking place outside.
