Jamesport Brewing Company plans to expand with purchase of Ludington building

LUDINGTON — Jamesport Brewing Company has called the Jamesport Center Building home for 25 years, but now they own the building outright.

The company currently occupies three of six storefronts. With this purchase, Jamesport says they plan to take over a fourth storefront to add more retail space, a “Brewtique” and about 600 square feet of space to their kitchen.

“It’s just going to be a boost to morale, so they don’t have to work in tiny spaces. Obviously it’ll allow us to do more and bigger parties,” said Jen Tooman, brewery/brand manager. “As we’ve expanded, we’ve added more merchandise offerings, but we only have a tiny space here. We’ll be able to expand JBC merch also.”

The two remaining storefronts will be open for lease. Work is expected to start in March, with the “Brewtique” opening in the spring 2026.
