Today the Awaiting Arms Rescue Sanctuary brings in two pups, Daiquiri and Schweppes, who are a part of a litter that recently came into the shelter. Born in November these sweet little ones had a rough start to life, coming to the rescue starved and scared. They have adjusted, becoming the sweet loving pups that they were meant to be and it shows.

This is also a very good time to remind everyone about the detrimental affect that Heartworm can have on dogs if they are not cared for. Heartworm care can cost roughly $10-$15 a month but heartworm surgery if your furry friend were to get it could run you upwards of $6,000 so please remember to get your pet checked out and up to date on their care.
