Today we launch a new series, the “Four Book Club,” where every month we invite a different author onto the show to explore their work and the path that led them to putting pen to paper. Although this series will primarily celebrate Michigan authors, if a book presents itself as a “must read” they will be featured.
The latter is the case for “Failure Rules! The 5 Rules of Failure for Entrepreneurs, Creatives, and Authentics” by Andrew Thorp King. At a time in his life when everything was crashing down, a marriage on the rocks, a business partnership coming to a bitter end, Andrew found himself in a dark place. But using lessons he picked up throughout his life, primarily to see the good in failure, Andrew decided to share his wisdom with the world.
If you have ever been afraid to start your dream job, write your first book, paint your first portrait, this book is a must-read. It will help you not only understand that failure is not always a guarantee and beyond that, success does not exist without the lessons learned from failure.
You can pick up a copy of “Failure Rules! The 5 Rules of Failure for Entrepreneurs, Creatives, and Authentics” anywhere books are sold or by visiting the Andrew Thorp King website.
