When it comes to animals within our communities, so often the stories that go unheard are those surrounding individuals that take it upon themselves to help in anyway that they can. The West Michigan Bulldog Rescue, also affectionately known as “For the love of LuLu” in honor of the bulldog that inspired operator Becky Wilkinson to start her rescue.
Over the years Becky had built up an incredible following on Facebook of Bulldog lovers from all over the country, until hackers got into the account and took it over. Although Becky has been in touch with Facebook repeatedly, she still has not received any assistance from them in recovering all of her hard work.
That is why it is so important that the Michigan community come together to support Becky’s work. If you are unable to donate, volunteer, or adopt one of these sweet pups please consider giving her new Facebook page a follow as she rebuilds what has been lost.
