T.I. books gig at 2025 National Cherry Festival after 2024 cancellation

Performance set for Wednesday, July 2 on the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage

TRAVERSE CITY — The National Cherry Festival on Monday announced that Grammy Award-winning rapper, entrepreneur and philanthropist T.I. will take the stage at the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.

Opening the show for T.I. will be DJ XCape and Ajax Stacks.

T.I. was scheduled to perform at the 2024 National Cherry Festival but had to cancel at the last minute due to his daughter receiving a BET Award. Festival officials said they are delighted to have him booked for 2025.

Known for hits like “Whatever You Like,” “Live Your Life” and “Bring ‘Em Out,” T.I.’s high-energy performance is sure to be a highlight of the festival, organizers said.

“We are excited to welcome T.I. back to the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage,” said Kat Paye, National Cherry Festival executive director. “His performance in 2025 is sure to be a thrilling and memorable part of our concert lineup, and we can’t wait to see fans from all over the region come together for an amazing night of music.”
