Creating an Alzheimer’s and dementia-friendly Thanksgiving

For any of us that have lost a friend or family member to dementia, there is little we wouldn’t trade for another Thanksgiving with our loved one. That is why it is so important that if you know someone currently battling the disease that you make an effort to include them in the festivities. But how do you create a space that is safe?

Today we are sitting down with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America to discuss ways that we can all be more inclusive and help those suffering from Alzheimer’s or Dementia enjoy the holiday with family.
