Alpena Police said a Lachine man was charged with arson and making terrorist threats.
On Nov. 1, police and firefighters responded to a fire in the backyard of a home. They found a camper trailer and SUV engulfed in flames.
With nearby surveillance cameras, officers were able to identify Robert Charles Gierszewski. They said he intentionally started the fire, and when he returned to the scene he was arrested.

After his arrest, police said Gierszewski made threats to do more harm.
He was charged with arson and threats of terrorism. If convicted, he faces life in prison due to his status as a habitual offender.
