Roscommon Community Foundation board welcomes two new trustees

ROSCOMMON — The Roscommon County Community Foundation has announced the addition of two esteemed community members to the Board of Trustees.

According to an Aug. 26 news release, Gary Gandolfi and Christine Riley will be joining the board to further RCCF’s mission of enhancing the quality of life in the community.

Gary Gandolfi is a past president and 30-year active member of the Rotary Club of Houghton Lake and has demonstrated his commitment to serving others.

Gandolfi’s involvement as a former board member of the Houghton Lake Community Schools and as a current trustee for Community Health at Munson Healthcare underscores his dedication to community well-being.

Gandolfi values integrity, excellence and collaboration, and is eager to make a positive impact on the community through his role with RCCF.

Christine Riley is the Culture and Communications Coordinator at MidMichigan Community Health Services.

Riley is connected to the community, having grown up in Houghton Lake and graduated from Houghton Lake Community Schools.

Her work as treasurer for the Suicide Prevention Coalition and her close collaboration with the Board of Directors at MidMichigan Community Health Services reflects her commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of Roscommon County.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gary and Christine to our Board of Trustees. Both bring a strong sense of dedication and a deep connection to our community,” RCCF Board President Diane Nielsen said. “Their diverse experiences and commitment to service will undoubtedly strengthen our efforts to make a positive impact in Roscommon County.”

Gary Gandolfi and Christine Riley’s appointments come as RCCF continues to focus on community-driven initiatives aimed at fostering growth, support and well-being in Roscommon County. Their expertise and dedication will be instrumental in guiding the foundation’s future endeavors.
