The Cadillac Fire Department was called to AAR Mobility Systems on Haynes Street for a reported fire on Monday night.
Firefighters found smoke coming from the rear of the building, saw flames on the roof. They pinpointed the source of the fire as the boiler room and HVAC on the roof above.
Gas and electric were shut off to the affected area. CFD said the building’s fire system extinguished the flames in the boiler room while firefighter put out the fire in the HVAC roof unit.
Firefighters put out the fire in about eight minutes, and they cleared the scene Cadillac Firefighters cleared the scene about two hours later. No injuries were reported.
