GAYLORD — On Aug. 17 around 3 p.m., officers from the Gaylord Police Department responded to SunFrog Solutions on O’Rourke Boulevard for an altercation that involved a stabbing, police said.
Upon arrival, officers found two men with severe lacerations and puncture wounds from edged weapons, they said. The officers secured the scene and provided medical aid.
Otsego County EMS arrived on scene and took both men to Munson Otsego Memorial Hospital for treatment, police said.
One of the men, a 33-year-old, died from his injuries at Munson OMH, and the other, a 35-year-old, received emergency surgery for serious injuries, police said.
Both men were temporary workers in the United States from Jamaica working at SunFrog Solutions, police said.
The incident is currently under investigation.
The Gaylord Police Department was assisted by the State Police, Otsego County Sheriff, DNR Law Enforcement Division and Otsego County EMS.
