VERMONT- Kaila Kuhn, a 22-year-old resident of Boyne City, has secured her spot on Team USA for the upcoming Winter Olympics after winning her first event at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation World Cup. This achievement marks her return to the Olympics after competing in 2022.
Kuhn, who graduated from Boyne City High School in 2021, made her Olympic debut in 2022, where she finished eighth in aerials. She has a history of success in the sport, having dominated the 2025 World Championships by becoming the first aerials athlete to win two gold medals at a single championship.
Kuhn’s journey in competitive skiing began at a young age, when she started competing in world championships at the age of fifteen. She attended the University of Utah for her college education before pursuing a professional skiing career. Her expertise in aerials has set her apart in the sport, showcasing her skills on the international stage.
