LEELANAU COUNTY — Finn Hogan, a standout athlete from Leelanau County, has officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, signed with Bullrush Sports and will compete this weekend in the College Gridiron Showcase in Fort Worth, Texas.

Hogan, a graduate of Glen Lake High School, was a decorated multi-sport athlete, earning First Team All-State honors in football and setting multiple school records in track and field. Under the guidance of coach Jerry Angers, Hogan excelled in sports and made a name for himself long before his rise in college football.

Hogan distinguished himself as one of Northern Michigan’s most accomplished high school athletes. At Glen Lake High School, he earned First Team All-State honors, was a two-time First Team All-Region selection and a three-time First Team All-Conference honoree. Hogan also achieved recognition as a two-time Traverse City Record-Eagle Dream Team selection and was named the publication’s 2021 Male Athlete of the Year.

After graduating, Hogan began his collegiate career at Central Michigan University and later transferred to Bowling Green State University. At Bowling Green, he evolved into a reliable wide receiver recognized for his strong hands, body control and football intelligence.

During the 2023 season, Hogan gained national recognition when his spectacular one-handed touchdown catch against Georgia Tech was featured on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays.

Outside of athletics, Hogan has also made his mark as a college football social media influencer. He played a significant role in helping “Pudge the Cat,” Bowling Green’s unofficial team mascot, gain viral attention online. “Finn was special long before the spotlight,” said Angers, now Director of Training & Scouting at Bullrush Sports. “What people are seeing now — the athleticism, the discipline, the professionalism — that all started here at Glen Lake.”

Expressing his roots, Hogan stated, “I’m proud of where I come from. The Glen Lake community shaped me. Declaring for the NFL Draft and competing at the College Gridiron Showcase is an exciting next step.”

Hogan will be represented by David Gregory of Bullrush Sports, a Suttons Bay native and NFLPA-certified agent. “Finn’s path reflects what the modern NFL looks for — elite athletic traits, character, adaptability and the ability to represent an organization well on and off the field,” Gregory remarked. The 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled to take place in April in Pittsburgh.
