ELK RAPIDS- Traverse City St. Francis faced off against Kingsford in the opening round of the Ray Graham Invitational Tournament at Elk Rapids on Friday. The winner would advance to play in the 1:30 p.m. championship game on Saturday.
After leading into the second half, the Gladiators surrendered a 26-7 run to end the game and lost by a final score of 51-41. The Glads will play Ovid-Elsie in a consolation game at noon on Saturday.
