TRAVERSE CITY- Coach Tom Passinault, head coach of St. Francis baseball, has been announced as an inductee into the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, a prestigious honor that will be officially recognized at Comerica Park in June 2026.

Passinault’s induction into the Hall of Fame comes after a remarkable season where he led St. Francis to a state championship victory, defeating Marine City 5-4. Earlier this summer, he was named the MHSBCA Division 3 Coach of the Year, further solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in high school baseball.
The induction ceremony for Coach Passinault and his peers in the Class of 2026 is scheduled to take place at the annual MHSBCA All-Star Game at Comerica Park in June 2026. Before this, he will be honored at the MHSBCA coaches clinic on January 9th at the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant.
Passinault has been a significant presence in high school baseball since he began as the head coach of the St. Francis Gladiators in 2014. Under his leadership, the team has reached the state finals in 2017 and 2021, and he surpassed the 300-win mark in April of this year.
