Drew Esper leads Central Michigan’s National Signing Day class

TRAVERSE CITY — Central Michigan had 31 players put pen to paper on National Signing Day on Wednesday, including Traverse City West Senior Drew Esper.

Esper was a dominant force on both sides of the ball for the Titans. He led West to a second consecutive playoff appearance this past season and noted that his fondest memory was never losing a Patriot Game; he totaled over 200 yards and three touchdowns in his final.

Esper will be playing on defense at the next level and will be joining a Chippewas squad that is bowl eligible in the first year under head coach Matt Drinkall.

At the conclusion of this semester, Esper will head to Central Michigan as an early enrollee to get to work with the team right away.
