SAULT STE. MARIE- The Lake Superior State University Basketball team is set to open the 2025-26 basketball season and recently announced its upcoming promotions and season ticket details.
Last year, the Lakers made their deepest run in program history. That team will be honored with a banner-raising and ring ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 29, for the Lakers’ home opener against Lawrence Tech.
In addition to that game, the Lakers will host Walsh on Education Day on Dec. 15, Military Appreciation Night on Feb. 12, Fan Appreciation Night on Feb. 19 and Senior Day on Feb. 21.

Season packages and single-game tickets are now available online and at the Norris Center box office.
The Lakers will begin their season on Nov. 14 against Lake Erie.
