ANN ARBOR- The University of Michigan and head football coach Sherrone Moore have each withdrawn their appeals in the advanced scouting NCAA infractions case, according to ESPN.
The NCAA committee on infractions cited Michigan with multiple level one violations for impermissible off-campus scouting in the 2021, 2022, and part of the 2023 seasons.
The punishment included up to $30 million in fines and a three-game suspension for Sherrone Moore that could be spread across two seasons.
According to the NCAA’s Division One infractions dashboard, Moore withdrew his appeal on September 29th, nine days after serving the second game of his suspension, and the University withdrew on Oct. 6.
The withdrawals are unrelated to the show-cause handed to Connor Stalions and Jim Harbaugh.
