Pickford 53, Newberry 6
Pickford and Newberry were voted as our Baker Auto Group of Cadillac Game of the Week. Each team was 2-0 coming into the matchup, but Pickford is the only one to come out undefeated.
Pickford will be at Rudyard next week, and Newberry will host St. Ignace.
Davison 31, Traverse City Central 14
Traverse City Central and Davison met at Thirlby Field; each team was 2-0 coming in. The Trojans led 14-9 at half, but would be shut put in the second.
The Trojans will be at home against Mount Pleasant next week.
Traverse City St. Francis 56, Benzie Central 20
St. Francis came in ranked 2nd in Division 6 against a Huskies team still looking for their first win.
St. Francis will host Grayling next week, and Benzie Central will be home again against Tawas.
Marion 62, Mesick 22
Marion was winless on the year and looking to turn things around against Mesick, the Bulldogs were 1-1 on the year.
Marion picks up a dominant first win; they’ll be hosting Bear Lake while Mesick will visit Onekama next week.
Marquette 2, Traverse City St. Francis 5
Marquette Soccer was 10-2-2 visiting a 5-2-1 St. Francis team. The Glads jumped ahead early in this one and would go on to secure a big win.
