TRAVERSE CITY- Traverse City West High School added a couple of new head coaches for the new school year in both girls golf and cross country.
Greg Ganon will head up the golf team. He’s a familiar face around the program as he served as the assistant girls golf coach from 2017 to 2022, and was the head boys varsity coach in 2023.
The girls cross country team will now be under the direction of Libby Shutler. That’s now three varsity teams at West shell be the head coach of, including girls track and alpine skiing. The Titans girls cross country team is the defending Big North Conference and MHSAA regional champions.
