RUDYARD- After making the playoffs in 8-man football two years ago, the Rudyard Bulldogs had an off year last season after going 4-5 and missing out on the playoffs.
7th-year head coach Jim Suggitt says there were competitive games in most last year, including single-digit losses to Gaylord St. Mary’s and Newberry.
Suggitt also notes that several key players graduated last year, leaving some holes to fill. But he won’t have to worry about the quarterback position as Kyle Postma will return under center as the only four-year player on the roster.
The Bulldogs will travel to Gaylord St. Mary’s on the 28th to start the new season.
