NEWBERRY- Newberry has quite the test to begin their season against the defending state champs. After making the playoffs 2 years ago, the Indians went 2-7 last season
2nd-year head coach Zach Clickner said they did a lot of right things, but invented ways to lose. Clickner says despite losing a great senior class last year, ten seniors are on the squad, including two foreign exchange students. Newberry has another grueling schedule that includes Crystal Falls-forest park, Pickford, Munising and Norway.
The Indians travel to Crystal Falls Forest Park to take on the reigning d-2 state champions on Thursday.
