Megan Stefanski, who in October won the Detroit Lions Fan of the Year, on Thursday, Feb. 6, was named NFL Fan of the Year.
Stefanski is a Central Michigan University grad and currently lives in the U.P. According to her X profile, Stefanski describes herself as “a Yooper who loves to travel the world, baseball, college basketball, Detroit Lions, books, jeeps, and adventure. School librarian. CMU Grad. PFUFA Class of ‘22.”
Stefanski was honored on national TV and had this to say about receiving the award.
“I feel like I received them mostly just for raising money and that’s all I care about is bringing recognition to the U.P. and the fans up here and to Hospice of the U.P. Raising money and awareness that they’re the only free hospice in the state of Michigan and we managed to raise $50,000 for them this season.” said Stefanski.
The hospice benefit will be the 2nd Saturday in July.
Congratulations to Megan!
