Life of Mancelona superfan honored as the Ironmen go on to beat Onaway

MANCELONA- The life of Mancelona superfan was honored prior to the Varsity game tonight. A speech was given and a moment of silence held as the crowd paid homage to a familiar face and friendly face.

Mcintire had not missed a home or away Ironmen basketball or football game in the last eight years! Mcintire’s sons were at the game and were pleased to see the community reflecting the love he had for his father.

“Obviously, our father was big into sports. (He) Loved all the Mancelona sports programs, went to every game. It didn’t matter what sport it was. So, yeah, a tremendous honor, obviously, to be here.
