SAULT STE. MARIE - The Lake Superior State women’s basketball team has improved this season under new head coach Grace Howrigon. Before today’s match up with Wayne State University, their four wins this early season already doubled their total wins last year.
The Lakers got off to a good start with Breah Golden starting the scoring with a lay up.
But after that, Wayne State gradually took control of the game with solid defense and good shooting and never looked back in the second half winning 74-58.
