Montgomery now hopes rehab will get him back on the field in time for the postseason.

He injured his MCL in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills and it was initially feared he may need season ending surgery.
Montgomery has rushed for 775 yards this season and reached the endzone 12 times.
Running back Jahmyr Gibbs is expected to handle a good portion of the running game this weekend when Detroit visits Chicago.
