Ogemaw Heights has hopes of making a deep run in 2024, as they join the Jack Pine Conference

WEST BRANCH - The Ogemaw Heights Falcons are looking to return to the playoffs and make a deeper run in the 2024 season. The Falcons 2023 season ended on their home field in the district final as they lost to Kingsford. The Falcons are joining the Jack Pine Conference this season and will be playing in the big school division. This year is Chad Miller’s 6th year in charge, and the team is made up of mostly juniors, but with a few strong senior leaders as well.

To beat the real good teams your best players, have to make plays and we felt we should have won that game, but hats off to Kingsford. They were tough a team as we played, and the last game always hurts. I don’t care if it’s week nine or week 12, it hurts. And we regrouped well this offseason and we’ll be just fine,” said coach Miller.
