BOYNE FALLS - Joseph Juszczyk won the Tournament of Champions after a playoff on Wednesday. The final round was intense with Juszczyk needing a birdie on 18 to even get into the playoff. Juszczyk beat out Kyle Martin and Tom Werkmeister in the playoff, as he claimed the trophy in his first ever time playing the event.
“Definitely some some beginner’s luck. I don’t have any demons to, to battle out here just because I haven’t really played it that much. The golf course, the greens can be really tough, can make a great putter look foolish, at any point. I’ve kind of had my eye on it, for a long time and, you know, first try. I’m obviously very fortunate and, and super excited about it.” Said Juszczyk
