Traverse City Christian Uses Strong Second Half to Down Charlevoix 7-0

TRAVERSE CITY – Traverse City Christian senior Henry Reineck scored three goals in a 7-0 Sabres win over Charlevoix on Tuesday night in boys soccer.

TC Chrisitan held a 2-0 lead at halftime and then added five goals in a dominant second half to win 7-0.

In addition to Reineck’s three goals, the Sabres got one goal each from Louis Rhein, Kai Upshaw, Noah Wentzloff and Julian Ahluwalia.

With the win, TC Christian improves to 5-1-1 on the season. The Sabres have shutout their opponents in all five of their wins. Traverse City Christian’s next game is at home on Friday, Sep. 9 against Holland.

Charlevoix’s record drops to 3-2-1 with the loss. The Rayders will look to get back on track on Thursday, Sep. 8 at home against Grayling.
