May Signs with Albion Football

KINROSS — Isaiah May made his college destination official on Friday by signing with Albion College to continue his football career.

May, a senior at Maplewood Baptist, played high school football with a co-op with Pickford, and helped lead the Panthers to a state title this past season.

He didn’t have a chance to check out Albion College, but he will have a familiar face as a teammate next year as Pickford quarterback Jimmy Storey will play there as well.

I didn’t visit, but Jimmy told me a lot about the college and how it’s a really cool college and things like that,” May said. “Financially, it was the best option for me. It’s close to home and it’s not too far. I felt like it was a good place for me and a good fit for my college education.”

May was a two-time all-state honoree for the Panthers.
