Leland Beats Forest Area by 14 in D4 District Play

SUTTONS BAY – The Leland boys basketball team handed Forest Area a 73-59 loss in a Division 4 district semifinal on Wednesday.

The two teams were tied at 16-16 at the half.

With the loss Forest Area wraps up its season at 12-9.

Leland (13-9) will now take on Lake Leelanau St. Mary for the district title at 7 p.m. Friday.
