
ANTRIM COUNTY — Three East Jordan area residents were arrested March 3 after the Antrim County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 GMC Sierra on M-66 near Doerr Road in Mancelona Township.
According to Sheriff Kevin S. Hoch, the vehicle was suspected of being involved in narcotics activity and was occupied by three people, the sheriff’s office said.
K-9 Zeke alerted to the presence of controlled substances inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia, a syringe containing an unknown substance, 10.1 grams of fentanyl and 26 grams of methamphetamine.
All three occupants were arrested and lodged in the Antrim County Jail.
The sheriff’s office said it was seeking charges related to controlled substances. The identities of those arrested were being withheld pending arraignment.
