BIG RAPIDS — A 38-year-old Big Rapids man was arrested on charges of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
State Police say Brandon Conway Allen was arraigned Wednesday, March 4, in the 77th District Court after investigators said they learned he was sharing files of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
State police said Allen was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized.
Allen was charged with one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.
The Big Rapids Police Department, Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office and Ferris State University Department of Public Safety assisted with the investigation.
