Crafting with Katy: Bird Seed Wreath

I show you how to make a birdseed wreath with a twist – using homemade beef tallow! I’m armed with a bundt pan for shape and a wire hanger for support. I stirred up a delightful treat for our feathered friends. Fill the pan with seed and tallow. I had leftovers so I whipped up a puck of birdseed too. A plastic straw creates a hole I can use to string it up with. They chill in the fridge for a couple of hours to solidify. The wreath is ready but sticking to the pan. I run it under some hot water and leave it to soak for a couple of minutes. No goldilocks here! It was too cold to come out of the pan and then too hot and fell apart. I left it in the medal bundt pan and hung the whole thing up. It quickly became a hit with the local birds and squirrels.
