Macomb County woman wins $500,000 playing Michigan Lottery’s Linked Wins Instant Game

LANSING — A weekend trip up north turned into a winning weekend for a Macomb County woman who won $500,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Linked Wins instant game!

“I went on a weekend trip up north with my sister and nephew, and we bought a bunch of lottery tickets once we got there,” said the 51-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous. “That night we all sat around the table and scratched the tickets. When I scratched the Linked Wins game and saw the $500,000 prize, we didn’t believe it. We scanned it on the Michigan Lottery app and still didn’t believe it when $500,000 came up on the screen! It was surreal.”

The player bought her winning ticket at Lewiston EZ Mart, located at 3521 County Road 612 in Lewiston. Lewiston is about 25 miles southeast of Gaylord.
