PETOSKEY – After five decades of serving the Petoskey community, Cormack’s Deli is closing its doors on March 27, 2026. The family-owned restaurant began as Cormack’s Little Sausage House on Spring Street and evolved over the years into a local favorite known for generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere.
For generations, Cormack’s has been a gathering place for friends, families, and visitors from out of town. Its reputation as a must-visit spot in the area has made it an integral part of Petoskey’s local culture. The deli has been especially valued for the personal connections fostered between staff and patrons, creating a sense of community that went beyond just a meal.
The closure marks the end of an era for the community, but the deli’s legacy will live on in the memories of those who visited for its food, friendly service, and the sense of connection it provided. Patrons are encouraged to visit in the coming weeks to enjoy their favorite menu items one last time and celebrate nearly 50 years of local history.
