MANISTEE — The Manistee County Democratic Party is inviting the public to an informational meeting at West Shore Community College’s River Street Campus in Manistee.
Four candidates will speak, including Rachel Howard running for U.S. Senate, Jamie Hill for the 2nd Congressional District, Aghogho Edevbie for Michigan Secretary of State, and Rebecca Amidon for Michigan’s 32nd State Senate District.
A meet-and-greet will follow, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and speak directly with the candidates.
Vice Chair Dawn Bense will also outline a new Precinct Delegate recruitment and training program, with party members and interested voters encouraged to attend.
The meeting begins Thursday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m. at West Shore Community College’s River Street Campus in Manistee.
