PETOSKEY — The Salvation Army of Petoskey is $15,000 short of its 2025 Red Kettle Campaign goal of $141,000. This funding is essential for providing food, heat, electricity, rent assistance and other critical services for families in Emmet, Charlevoix and Antrim Counties.

Donations are being accepted through the end of January. The demand for assistance increases during the harsh winter months, emphasizing the importance of the funds raised through this campaign.

The Red Kettle Campaign Chair, Jonathan Meyer, emphasized the significance of community support, saying, “Your gifts keep families fed, homes warm and lights on. Every dollar makes a difference.” He highlighted how donations directly impact local families in need.
