TRAVERSE CITY — The Friends of the Traverse Area District Library will host a one-day media sale on Jan. 24, 2026, at the Woodmere Branch in Traverse City. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., allowing attendees to purchase a wide selection of media items for just $5 per bag.
This special sale will feature a variety of gently used items, including DVDs, CDs and audiobooks. The funds raised from this event will directly benefit the programs, services and resources of the Traverse Area District Library.
This media sale is designed to engage the community while providing an opportunity to support library initiatives. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags to fill with the available media items, which will be available until supplies last.
Friends President Jud Barclay of the Traverse Area District Library, affirmed the value of such events, stating, “Events like our media sale are a great way for the community to support the library while finding fantastic deals.”
In addition to shopping, attendees can learn more about becoming a Friend of the Library, highlighting the importance of community involvement in sustaining library offerings.
