TRAVERSE CITY — The American Red Cross is marking National Blood Donor Month this January with a blood drive.
It’s a critical month for the Red Cross to collect blood products to meet patient needs as cold weather months bring less donors and challenges posed by winter weather.
Donors participating in the blood drive will receive a $50 coupon toward a purchase of $399 or more at Gardner White Furniture. They will also be entered to win a $500 gift certificate from the retailer.
