REED CITY — The Reed City Hometown Heroes Banner Program is kicking off its 2026 season, with organizers again planning to recognize local veterans and active service members.
Organizers said last year’s display season was a huge success. Banners are set to be displayed across town from Memorial Day to Veterans Day to honor service and sacrifice.
“I think the nation as a whole needs to remember them,” one speaker said. “That is what this nation in the community is all about. To continue on the honor of serving. I don’t want this community or veterans to be left in the dark. I want to always be remembered.”
Registration begins tomorrow. More information and banner sponsorship details are available at 9and10news.com.
