GLADWIN— The Council on Aging in Gladwin County is closing all of its meal services for Monday, December 29th, due to inclement weather expected across Michigan.
Officials said forecasted snow and icy conditions could make travel unsafe for both staff and volunteers. As a result, all congregate meal sites will be closed, and home-delivered meal services will also be suspended for the day.
The Council on Aging encourages seniors and caregivers to plan ahead and check for service updates on their website.
