The tree planting program is crucial for maintaining electric reliability and safety as Consumers Energy plans to clear trees and limbs from nearly 8,000 miles of power lines in 2025. In collaboration with the Michigan Forestry and Parks Association, Consumers Energy aims to work with local communities to ensure the proper planting of trees.
