EMS ambulance rollover at intersection of I-75 and M-28

DAFTER TOWNSHIP — A MyMichigan Health EMS ambulance transporting a patient rolled over at the intersection of I-75 and M-28 just before 1 a.m.

Crews from the Dafter Township Fire Department arrived within minutes and immediately set up Incident Command. Kinross EMS also responded, sending two additional ambulances to assist.

Officials said the two EMS workers inside the ambulance, along with the patient who was already being transported were evaluated at the scene.

They were taken to a nearby medical facility. Their conditions have not been released.

The cause of the rollover is still under investigation.
