Michigan’s Public Health Week Partnership is now accepting nominations for its annual Hometown Health Hero Awards. The partnership is made up of 13 public health organizations.
It honors people, groups and organizations making major contributions to improving health in their communities.
Award winners will be recognized during a ceremony on March 18th in Lansing, as part of Michigan Public Health Week.

“The 2026 awards celebrate those tackling critical health issues and building safer, stronger communities,” State Chief Medical Executive Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian said.
