WEXFORD COUNTY — 9&10 News was inside the courtroom Monday as two Cadillac residents faced a judge in separate criminal cases—one of which is directly tied to the investigation into the death of 34-year-old Rebecca Park, who was found dead last week in Grand Traverse County.
Kimberly Sue Park, 34, was arraigned on charges connected to the homicide investigation, including lying to police during a violent-crime investigation, tampering with evidence, and falsely reporting a felony. According to the felony complaint, detectives say she provided misleading information and later filed a false claim accusing a detective of assault.
Her bond was set at $750,000 cash or surety.
Later in the same session, 51-year-old Ricard Lee Falor was arraigned on unrelated drug charges, including delivering or manufacturing methamphetamine and a habitual-offender fourth-offense enhancement. While the charges against him are not directly connected to the Park homicide case, both arrests come as investigators continue to piece together what happened in the days leading up to Rebecca Park’s death. His bond was set at $1 million.
Both defendants remain lodged in the Wexford County Jail pending their next court dates.
